Blasting with fine glass beads creates a uniform stainless steel surface appearance and a satin-matt finish. It reduces strong reflections and highlights the shape and structural details of the part. We verify the required roughness by measurement.

Glass bead blasting is a mechanical surface treatment using fine glass beads propelled onto the component by compressed air. It produces a finely matt, satin appearance without the directional marks typical of grinding.
Round glass beads act on the surface differently from angular abrasives. The treatment creates a uniform texture and appearance with little material removal. The final texture depends on bead size, process settings and the initial condition of the component.
We select the process to suit the component design, required appearance and application. We check surface roughness with a Mitutoyo SJ 210 instrument. Pickling and passivation can be added to meet corrosion resistance requirements.
A finely matt surface visually unifies stainless steel parts and gives visible surfaces a refined appearance.
The matt texture diffuses light and reduces mirror-like reflections, highlighting the shape and workmanship of the product.
